Anyone can get lung cancer. Smoking is not the only cause. At George & Farinas, we fight for working men & women afflicted by lung cancer as a result of workplace exposures, such as inhalation of asbestos fibers. In the past few years we represented more women with asbestos-related cancer than ever before. They are spouses or adults who were exposed as daughters in their homes. Workers carried the asbestos fibers home on their clothing, shoes, body and hair. The asbestos fibers contaminated cars and homes. The clothing that was full of fibers exposed all who did the laundry.
