I began working as a paralegal for Linda George and Kathy Farinas in 2009. After two years of watching the attorneys at the firm fight for those harmed by corporations, I decided to pursue my Juris Doctorate. I knew I wanted to make a difference in this world, and becoming an attorney at George & Farinas meant I could help injured people hold the corporations that harmed them accountable.
I enrolled at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis so I could continue to work at George & Farinas on a part-time basis. At the time, my father was beginning his hard but successful battle with cancer. Staying in Indianapolis meant I could help my parents navigate through the cancer battle. I believe experiencing the immediate and residual effects of disease during my father’s battle with cancer has made me a better advocate for our clients.
In October 2014, I transferred roles at the firm and officially became a practicing attorney. I work diligently to recover the maximum compensation our clients and their families deserve. I am driven by a desire to see our clients and their families get justice and relief by holding corporations responsible. I also believe that holding corporations responsible forces some corporations, not all, to change their policies to protect the health of their employees, consumers, and the general public.
I work in all phases of asbestos and catastrophic personal injury litigation for George & Farinas, LLP, including client outreach, discovery, trial preparation, and trial. In addition, I do the intake, preparation, and filing with the asbestos bankruptcy trusts on behalf of clients. I also dedicate time to educating and training new staff members when they join the George & Farinas team. My first words when meeting a new team member are, “we have been given a great privilege and responsibility to represent people during some of the most difficult days of their lives.” People come to us when they have nowhere else to turn, and the entire team at George & Farinas knows they are there to fight for justice.
I was born and raised in Indianapolis. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, where there is never a dull moment.
